Unlike the static charts found elsewhere on the site, these charts are in Flash. Which means Adobe Flash Player 9 is required to view, and interact, with them.

Moving the mouse over them will reveal the statistics relating to whatever your mouse is hovering over. You will also be able to zoom in on a particular timeframe which interests you. Simply place the cursor over the date you want to start, hold down your mouse’s right button, drag your mouse to the date where you want to see up to, then release the right button. Presto, just the data that interests you.

  • UK Job Vacancies. Monthly total of job vacancies plus change of number compared to the same month a year earlier. From April 2001 onwards. Not seasonally adjusted.
  • UK Job Vacancies by Size of Employer. Monthly totals of job vacancies based on size of prospective employer: 1-9 employees, 10-49, 50-249, 250-2499 and 2500+. From June 2001 onwards. Seasonally adjusted figures.

GDP:

  • Real GDP Growth. RPI-adjusted GDP growth rates from 1955 Q2. Quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year rates.
